Google may show "Sign-in is unverified" during the first OAuth step. Click Advanced → Continue — OAuth verification is pending. The extension only reads your active deck.

Local-first parsing

Your .pptx, .key or Google deck is read on your device. The binary file never leaves your laptop in Desktop or Chrome-extension mode — no upload, no copy, no backup on our side.

Ephemeral by design

The slide text and notes shown on the lens live in EU memory for 2 hours, then auto-delete. No archive, no recovery — once the session ends, even we can't get it back.

Questions.

Do I need the G2 glasses?

Yes. PitchBoost is built for Even Realities G2 smart glasses. The phone app runs inside the Even Hub.

Do I need to install software to use PitchBoost?

No — PitchBoost runs in any browser at pitchboost.io/present. Drop your .pptx, .key, or .pdf, pair your phone, present. The desktop app is the right choice when your deck depends on PowerPoint or Keynote animations (those don't survive the browser conversion); for everyone else the browser version is the simplest way to get going.

Why pay if the G2 already has a Teleprompter?

Because the built-in Teleprompter only scrolls text — it doesn't control your slides. That means onstage you're managing two things at once: a clicker for the deck, AND the scroll for your notes. PitchBoost collapses both into a single click on the Ring. Zero cognitive load. One job: speak.

How does it control my slides?

With your Even Ring. One click advances to the next slide, a double click goes back, and scrolling moves through long speaker notes. Your hands stay free and your eyes stay on the audience.

What about videos and animations?

PitchBoost queries PowerPoint or Keynote for the real slide position after every click. If a video played instead of advancing, it snaps back within a second.

Is my data safe?

Sessions expire in 6 hours. Nothing stored permanently. Notes travel through a short-lived relay.

Multiple devices?

Each license activates on up to 5 devices (Mac, Windows, Chrome extension — any combination). Enter once per device, cached forever. Need more? Email support@pitchboost.io.

Does PitchBoost need internet?

Yes — both your PC and your phone need internet during your talk, but very little (~2 KB/sec, less bandwidth than a podcast intro). The simplest fix at venues with bad Wi-Fi: turn on personal hotspot from your phone and connect your PC to it. Even a 3G signal is enough. A LAN mode that works completely offline is on the roadmap.

Need a Microsoft account?

No. The helper parses .pptx files locally; .key files are exported to .pptx via Keynote on your Mac, also locally. No cloud, no login.

"Google hasn't verified this app" — is it safe?

The PitchBoost Chrome extension is currently pending Google's OAuth verification (it can take 3-6 weeks). During this period you'll see a warning screen when signing in with Google. It's safe to continue: click Advanced, then Go to pitchboost.io (unsafe). The extension only requests presentations.readonly — read-only access to the presentation you're actively delivering, nothing else. No write, no share, no Drive access. The warning disappears automatically once Google completes the review.
